ANIMAL KINGDOM

What a great place! Animal Kingdom is the best way we have ever seen to view and experience wild animals. Most or it is done as large enclosures with invisible fencing so that the animals appear to be truly wild as you move through their habitats. We took a "safari" which was wonderful and we spent a great deal of time in the huge aviary full of African birds where we felt like we had walked into a rainforest. Much to do there.

  

 
Just walking around is great fun. We stopped to watch a tree lady and a limbo group as well as simply enjoying the atmosphere.

                                      

 
Inside the aviary - called the Pangini Rainforest. We really felt lost in a huge forest.

We went to a neat bird show held in an open-air amphitheater and had large birds flying all over the crowd.

                                   

 
The safari is really a ride through the African veldt and is a great way to feel like you are being very privileged to view wildlife.

                                                        

 
Next to aviary the gorilla exhibit. It is so big that there are maps there to tell where gorillas will be at times of the day.
